In the ever-changing world of the internet/technology, we are constantly trying to keep up with the latest trends. Several months ago, we decided it was time to make a change to our brand. The question still remained as to whether that change would be subtle, drastic or somewhere in between.
As we gathered around the conference room table for the initial kick-off meeting, we discussed current trends, tools, and techniques that are being presented in websites across all types of industries. We looked at everything from color palettes to images to even the type of writing style. It’s never an easy task when you’re considering making big changes to your brand. There are different ideas about what best fits our corporate culture or fully tells our story, but one thing remained unanimous in our meetings, we needed to simplify things, which is why we feel this new style is the perfect fit for our marketing materials, stationary, and brand as a whole.
With this in mind, we are proud to announce the launch of our new firm logo. We feel that our logo reflects who we are and will resonate with our clients and within our industry. Along with our new logo and brand identity, we are excited to officially launch our new website featuring a contemporary design. The new design focuses on the client experience and incorporates a conversational writing style and tone that provides the user with a very easy, simple navigation when trying to learn more about our firm and the services we provide.
We hope you are as excited as we are about our new look! This has been such a fun, creative process in terms of evolving our brand. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

The latest report from AIA indicates that on a national basis billings at architecture firms continue to grow at a very healthy rate. Likewise, new project inquiries are also on the rise. Regionally, the South has continued to reflect a very robust market with an average index score of above 55 for the first 8 months of the year. Firms in the Midwest and West are reporting continued healthy conditions while the Northeast continues to lag behind. In addition, AIA reports that increasing productivity continues to be a challenge as does sourcing and hiring experienced staff. New technologies are making staff more productive in the long-run but can have a major impact on productivity during implementation.
AGC recently reported that construction employment has risen year over year (from Sept 2017 to Sept 2018) in 45 of the 50 states. The construction industry has reached the point of essentially full employment. Interestingly, year over year, new construction stats are down 1%. This would seem to indicate that there might be some trepidation in the market with regard to a potential overheating of the economy. However, it is still too early to confirm that this is the case.
Dodge Data suggests that rising interest rates and higher material costs have been balanced by continued strong economic growth due to easing of bank lending standards and increased financing for school construction and federally funded public works projects.
